This light wash straight leg style is called the "New York" but I'd call it the "Paris" because this is the denim you see most French girls wearing - low stretch, ankle length, high rise. It's very flattering and just so easy to style.

The New York is somewhat roomy in the hip and thigh with an authentic-looking retro medium to light wash that goes with everything.

This pair works with just about every shoe in your closet...sneakers, heels, slides, booties, loafers....all of it. I sized up just to make them a little more relaxed. 

Light wash jeans can be tricky. Sometimes they can show a little more of you than you'd like everyone to see. This pair, though, called the Los Angeles, offers great coverage, a medium weight jean that's still soft and breathable.

I was hunting for a cuffed denim straight leg pair when I discovered these from Mavi. Right out of the box they were a little long for me so I simply got out my sharp scissors and gave them a hem and re-cuffed. These, too, are so comfortable and right on trend.

If you ever tire of the wide (on trend) cuff, un-roll them or just hem them straight.

I added another denim midi skirt to my collection. They are one of my go-tos year round and this light blue wash is made for summer.
