This shirred floaty style and flutter sleeve on the lacey detail top from Caslon I’m wearing in this pic isn’t flattering on every body type. I usually shy away from it myself, but decided to style it for you because it is a very nice piece. This style works best on smaller chests. It can make a busty woman look heavy and bustier. With that said, wear what you like. This fuller style looks best with balance… so full on top and slim on the bottom. Because I don’t like my style to be too “dainty” I paired the top with curvy roadtripper authentic high waist skinny jeans by Madewell along with an on-trend square toe Jeffrey Campbell Jamm-3 slide sandal.By the way, take note that the sandal I’m wearing is actually too big for my foot. Why? Well, when I went to try it on my size wasn’t available. I went with it anyway because I thought it would be a good teaching moment to show you how to spot the wrong size. See how much room I have in the front beyond my toes?Remember… no matter how much you love a piece or how good the sale don’t buy it if it doesn’t work with your body or fit you.
