Perfect in Plaid
A patterned or printed pant is a must-have in your wardrobe.
A glen plaid pant like this high-rise knit drawstring ankle pull-on pants from A New Day, for instance, pairs with any color, any fabric and even large prints. I have to tell you, these pants are super comfy and easy to style. The length right off the rack seems to be perfect with a heeled ankle boot. If I were wearing them with a pump or a flat I would take them right above the ankle because they are a straight leg. I’ve been wearing this Sophie open-front sweater-blazer from J. Crew for years now and they bring it back every season. It is a wonderful piece and pairs perfect with the pants I’m wearing.
P.S. An evening wristlet bag during the day? Sure! It’s unexpected and makes the outfit fun!
