Exclusive: The Nordstrom6 April 2023 Drop

April's Nordstrom6 Drop serves up six pieces perfect for your poolside or beach vacation. Here's what my stylish friends and I are recommending this month...

There's a light wear-it-anywhere dress by Rails. A pretty striped button-up from Rag & Bone (that comes in a few colors). A Sam Edelman Bay sandal (a best-seller every year). Every year I buy a new La Blanca swimsuit. My suits from years past are still in great shape, but I want something new. I don't think I've ever used the word "sturdy" to describe a swimsuit, but that is exactly what I'm calling it. As things are falling, La Blanca picks it all up and holds it in place. 

This is a simple one-piece that comes in a few colors. It's a well-made basic that I'm jazzing up with an animal print sarong. This sarong can be worn halter-style or as a strapless dress too. Raffia slides feel beachy and the rope-y tote does too.

That LaBlanca suit can double as a bodysuit too. I'd wear it under these sporty linen pants from the Drop by Caslon and put the Rag & Bone button-up we chose over it. Knotting the sides and leaving it open, jacket style is a great way to add something extra to your outfit.

The pants in my normal size were a tad bit snug across my thighs but quickly stretched to be comfortable. They come in 4 neutral colors. The shirt I bought true to size and is intentionally a bit over-sized. The striped button-up also comes in a few color options:  brown, blue and the pink stripes you see here.

The Nordstrom6 chose Rails dresses as a favorite summer staple. Classic, relaxed sensibility is how the brand describes its fashions. Cool California style is a vibe I'm always into. This dress comes in a few colors and a shorter length. If the cross-over in the front feels too low, add a stitch for modesty. I highly recommend you check out Rails for quality pieces you can wear for years to come. I'm wearing a small here and paired it with a woven tote from Vince Camuto.

I would pair the Rag & Bone button-up with the linen pants and another version of the Bay sandal in black patent. I'd brighten up the outfit with a bold colorful earring and use that straw bag. Add a few gold bracelets to finish this look.

Now let's style the Rails mididress. Tie the shirt around your shoulders or at your waist for a preppy-sporty look. The pear slides are perfect here. I love that Tory Burch bracelet and I'd add another gold bangle and of-the-moment gold huggie earrings.

Wear this swimsuit like a bodysuit and top it with the striped shirt, left open. Add some style with a choker and classic Yurman hoops, that you'll wear forever. I Love a sporty, cush-y slide and let's have some fun with that handbag! This just looks like the ocean, doesn't it? Dresses it all up!
