The Nordstrom6 Anniversary Drop
The Nordstrom6 Drop is a collaboration between five experienced personal stylists who worked for Nordstrom.
We met in 2020 and with decades of styling expertise decided to start sharing our knowledge online. One of the things we share is a monthly “Drop”. The Nordstrom6 (N6) Drop includes six essential pieces that work well together and easily integrate into your existing wardrobe.
With so many people shopping the Anniversary Sale this month, the N6 is focused on helping you prep your wish lists.

Every year me and the rest of the ladies from the Nordstrom6 are invited by Nordstrom to preview Annniversary pieces.This year I spent ten days at the Nordstrom Fashion Valley store in San Diego going through a few hundred Anniversary pieces to pick the best to share with you. The pics I’m sharing below were taken during my visit.
Why is having behind-the-scenes access to Anniversary pieces important?
Because getting behind-the-scenes access to items before they go on sale allows me to have first-hand knowledge about the quality of the pieces, how they fit, and feel. This is how I am able to confidently recommend to you the things that I do during the sale including the six below.
Quick side note, we chose the pieces for the Drop after we left San Diego and two of them, the zip hoodie cardigan and slingback flats, I unfortunately do not have pics of myself wearing. I did get to see and touch them though during a round robin show and tell session at the store.

This modern longline coat has a boxy, oversize silhouette.
The wool wasn’t scratchy and will keep you warm. The timeless glen plaid’s subtle pattern will add interest to your outfit.
I tried it on in a small, my typical size. Size down if you want it more fitted, but I love it the way it was made to be worn – oversized.

A Chambray shirt is one of those pieces I recommend to all my clients. Just like your favorite denim jeans, it goes with everything!
The pretty marbled snaps give it a western vibe (on trend) and the supersoft, drapey lyocell chambray is light and breathable.
