I’m wrapping up my week in San Diego and getting ready to fly to Seattle.
Nordstrom flew me and the rest of my stylist friends from the Nordstrom6 out to the West Coast to attend two Designer showcase events. The first one we attended at Nordstrom Fashion Valley in San Diego was a blast. We had so much fun meeting everyone who came out for the event It was a nice treat to see all the new designer pieces too!
Now we’re heading up to the Pacific Northwest, to the Nordstrom flagship store in Downtown Seattle, to attend the second Designer showcase and while we’re there we’re hosting a special pop-up event for fans of the Nordstrom6! So excited for this!!!

Anyways, if you’ve been following me for any length of time you know when I visit the different Nordstrom locations I always have to sneak in a dressing room try on, and yes you guessed it… this time was no different. While in the Fashion Valley store I was able to take a break from the action for a few and go in search of some new and fun pieces to share with you…

No matter what Nordstrom I find myself in I seem to always be drawn to the Paige section. The denim, the dresses, the blouses, the shoes… all are just so good! If you want a blouse for work or a dinner date.. Paige. Want a pretty dress? Paige… the fabrics and prints are always top notch. The denim.. you know it… Paige. I have quite the jean collection from them.
This floral long-sleeve dress works for a fall/winter bridal shower as well as for workwear, maybe you add a blazer to make it more “serious” for the office. Add a hat to the look and it’s perfect for a wine tasting or lunch with your girlfriends. Knee boots, ankle boots, sandals or sneakers… styling it is simple.
I added a western belt and a puff sleeve denim jacket I can’t stop thinking about to finish off the look.

I was dying to show you how to wear these silver ankle booties. Yes I know they are flashy, but that’s how I like it… and if you have the same style vibe as me, you will too. Have fun with your look!
I paired the bootie with a simple sweater and black denim. No need for anything more, let the silver shine and be the star of the show. Trust me, they are going to bring the compliments.
Bonus, metallics “go with” everything so you’ll wear them way more than you think. They do come in other color options if you’d prefer to play it safe.

From across the store my eyes locked on this satin-y button-up shirt. That bronze-y rose color! Love! The pics don’t do it justice. You must see it in person. It was the perfect piece for these wide cropped jeans with a tie belt. I bought these wild booties from the Rack before I left and wore them four days so far on my trip. People stopped me left and right to acknowledge how fun they are. As you can see.. I love a funky shoe!
