My work is 100% reader-supported. I only share brands and products I truly believe in. When you shop from a link in this post I may earn a small commission.

Outfits are always more exciting when you add a few different pieces of interest. For spring I gravitate toward linen cardigans, utility jackets and lightweight blazers like this green boyfriend blazer I'm wearing.

I posted this blazer in early March, as part of my outfit ideas for St. Patrick's Day and as I was about to share it again in this post I saw it was sold out. It's the ONLY color that was part of the big Nordstrom Spring Sale, going on right now where you can save up to 60% off. Good news though, the blazer comes in six more fantastic color choices. I linked all the color options below for you to take a closer look at.

Me? I can't choose a favorite color. I really cannot. They're all worthy of your consideration... I'll probably have them all hanging in my closet sooner or later. The blazer itself is slightly oversized, hence the "boyfriend" designation, but not ridiculously boxy. It's also lightweight enough to wear now all the way through until early fall.

Keep scrolling for more info on the blazer I'm wearing along with my recommendations on additional green blazers... if green is your color...

Six Additional Color Options...

let's talk "matching"...

There's something else I want to talk to you about..."matching".

I bet many would think you could only wear this bright shade with white or black or maybe you'd get a little adventurous and try a black and white stripe. Ahhhh, but why not experiment?

I saw this particular tank from across the Nordstrom floor and knew I needed it for my green blazer. Try pairing colors of the same intensity together in an outfit. Brights with other brights, pastels with other pastels.  Pull it all together with a neutral shoe. Take your colored pieces and run them through your closet. I bet you find some surprising combinations you hadn't considered.

Oh! I almost forgot....extra pointy toes are back in style. Slingbacks are on trend. These are vintage Dior, but I linked similar below. Clutches - they're trending too. Mine is old Stella, but I added options so you can complete outfits and be in style too. The jeans are the raw edge Paige from last month's N6 drop, a great mid-to-light wash!
