As a former Nordstrom Stylist with 14 years of experience shopping the Anniversary Sale for private clients, here are a few insider tips to know….

1. Stores have limited stock, so shop the Nordstrom website as soon as you’re eligible. You’ll find way more options – and avoid missing out!

2. Featured catalog items and designer pieces are in high-demand and have limited stock – these pieces will sell out fast. Snag the best picks now – basics can wait.

3. If available, opt for expedited shipping – your order will be prioritized, giving you a better chance of getting exactly what you want before it sells out.

4. Not sure about your size? Order two and return one – shipping and returns are free. On the fence about a piece? Go for it – you can always return it if it’s not exactly what you wanted. Better that than wishing you had!

5. If your size is sold out, add a different size to your cart or wish list. This way, you’ll have the item number to easily check back later – sizes often come back in stock before the sale ends!

6. Cardmembers – schedule your Double Points Day! You’re likely to spend more, so make it count and earn extra Nordstrom Notes!

7. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the few chances to score brand-new fall styles at a discount – before the season even begins. Once the sale ends in August, prices go back up.
