If I'm spending time around other people in a swimsuit, you can bet I'm bringing a substantial cover-up.

After suntan lotion, sun fading, and stretching, my cover-ups from last year were a little worse for wear. Here's a multi-colored option from La Blanca. All of those colors mean you can mix and match your poolside looks. This one isn't too long or short, just gives me the perfect amount of hip, thigh and tush coverage.

A black cover-up is almost a necessity. I found this one on Amazon at just $17. It's not sheer, so it provides coverage and it's that gauzy fabric everyone's wearing right now. It comes in 18 colors! It's sized so you won't get too much fabric or too little.  

This suit is a new brand for me. Coral Reef Swim makes suits that offer high-coverage and are size inclusive. I was looking for a suit that was a little more sporty, conservative and perfect for playing with the kids in the pool. I liked this one so much I picked another up in black. Their suits are made to be mixed and matched.

I'm wearing tinted sunglasses from Look Optic, sassy earrings by Melinda Maria Jewelry, and raffia slides. A neutral cotton tote like this from Vince Camuto can carry your towels and favorite book.
