I bought this denim dress then decided to find 3 totally different ways to wear it

I can’t do it. I just cannot put myself and my style into a box. See, I think looking professional or conservative is important when the occasion calls for it. Looking polished and tailored will always be in style. I also think that FASHION should be fun. YOLO.When I wear jeans and a tee, I know how to do it “right”…the right tuck, the right hem with the right shoe, the right fit. It’s great to know how to wear those things in a stylish way-BUT, when I wear a shiny metallic or a loud animal print, when I mix patterns you wouldn’t expect to “go together”… that’s when I get stopped by someone saying “I love your outfit”. Believe it or not, that’s when I feel most confident… trying things a lot of people wouldn’t dare… and pulling it off.New year, new you? I dare you to try out your BOLD side in 2023. I can’t wait to see it.

I’m a little wild child (not anymore, really, but I like to pretend I’m cool through my outfits).I opened up this oversized denim dress to wear as a fun topper over my Spanx leggings. I LOVE these fun booties I bought months ago and love the rocker vibe they add to the leggings. This stretchy leopard buckle belt was bought at a friend’s boutique on a whim. It goes with this wild vibe I have going here. I added a simple stud earring because you know…I don’t want to go TOO wild. I’d wear this to have drinks with my girlfriends or maybe a concert!

I bought these hoops and had no idea they were this big. I was THIS close to giving them to my daughter when an inner voice said “they’re perfect. You still got it. Wear them yourself.” So I did, LOL. I mean, Jennifer Lopez would and she’s my age so…..Here’s another thing that makes me feel a little sexy when I need it… snakeskin boots. Here’s the dress worn simply… no adornment… just open at the neck, collar popped, relaxed. Still the earrings and the boots add that edge. I dare ya.

Now, let’s take that dress in a COMPLETELY different direction. I also like the stylish librarian look. Oversized glasses are FUN. This blazer cardigan hybrid is an outfit staple but what can we add to give the outfit a twist?…I know! Polka dot hosiery and a combat boot take a super-conservative look to the edgy side just a little bit.
