White House Black Market Try On

With White House Black Market currently having a limited time sale I had to stop by my local store to see what would be worth sharing with you.

In case you have never stepped inside a WHBM store, the majority of apparel and accessories is black and white.

It's so easy to build a wardrobe around the simplest of neutrals... and I found some great pieces to show you!

This tailored ecru blazer with black trim is a workwear and weekend hero. It's the perfect topper for countless outfits, thanks to its versatility. The neckline isn't too low-cut, so you can wear it buttoned up for a polished look or open like a classic blazer. Dress it down with jeans and a tee, or elevate a simple black trouser ensemble. Feeling bold? Throw it over your favorite dress for a touch of effortless chic.

This blazer comes in a size range of 00 to 18, ensuring you find the perfect fit. I'm wearing a size 4 in the blazer, which fits true to size.

Bonus Tip: Pair the blazer with the featured stretch tab straight-leg jeans (available in similar size ranges) for a head-to-toe look that's both comfortable and stylish. The jeans are available in size regular, short and long.

A ruana, aka a poncho, is a chic and effortless way to add a touch of drama to your outfit. I love how this one drapes and the tie at the waist defines your silhouette.

While I didn’t have a top to layer underneath in the dressing room, I envision a fitted long-sleeve tee in black or white as the perfect base.

To really make this piece shine, pair it with a slim-fitting bottom. If you’re taller, you can experiment with wider leg pants, but for petite frames, I recommend sticking to a slimmer silhouette. This ruana is one size and feels like great quality.

If you're very petite, skip this. It will overwhelm your frame.

I was invited to the LTK conference in Dallas in September and the vibe is "western chic". I'm already in planning mode for it, so I've been trying on lots of fun denim pieces, like this light wash dress.

This is the kind of dress you live in-great with flip-flops running errands. It's a cute alternative to shorts at a backyard BBQ, dressed up with heeled espadrilles or block heel sandals for lunch or dinner out. This light wash denim dress is the perfect foundation for the look. The denim fabric makes it easy to pair with all your favorite accessories.

I typically wear a size 4, but opted for a size 6 in this dress for a looser fit.

I love a good denim jacket and wear them nonstop from fall to early spring. This collarless, semi-fitted style I'm wearing is a fresh take on a classic.

Denim jackets are huge this season, and this cropped version is perfect for pairing with wide-leg pants, slipping over a dress, or even rocking a double denim look. It's incredibly soft and comfy too – a total win!

I'm wearing a size 4, and it fits true to size.

This dress caught my eye before I even made it into the store. It's a head-turner, edgy and so flattering!

The waist-cinching faux leather corset belt is a bit sexy, the poplin A-line bottom forgiving. Wear this to a cocktail party or anytime you want to impress your date.

I'm wearing a 4, TTS.
