What I Packed For My 10 Day West Coast Work Trip

Myself and the rest of the ladies from the Nordstrom6 were invited by Nordstrom to preview Anniversary pieces at their Fashion Valley full line store in San Diego.

Most of the time we'll be working in the store, taking pics and choosing our favorites from the sale to share with you. We also plan to have some free time and will be doing things outside too. The temperatures are going to range from the seventies to nineties, so I've packed pieces that'll be versatile enough to wear indoors as well as outside while I'm here on the West Coast.

Keep scrolling to get all the details on the pieces I packed for my ten day work trip...

Relaxed bottoms are “in”, but if you’re like me and prefer a style that’s not too relaxed, but still has that cool vibe, try these high waist wide leg jeans.

The jeans are just the right weight and they’re not see through. They have a button closure and zipper, with a drawstring waist.

I paired them with the linen muscle tee from this month's N6 Drop and platform sandals.

These wide leg jeans are so lightweight, perfect for summer! They're high-waist and non-stretch too.

I’m wearing them with a favorite linen halter - gave it a front tuck - along with a pair of platform sandals.

My striped button-ups are some of my most-worn pieces. This one from Lucky Brand is no different.

I paired it with knit joggers and my German athletic trainer inspired Veja sneakers.

For summer, I subbed in these pleated relaxed shorts for my full-length trousers.

With this outfit I’m working the “street style” look with an oversized button-down, fitted tank, and sneakers.

Sunglasses are a favorite way of mine to add some sass.

This cargo barrel pant in a tailored style, looks just as great with a tank and flip-flops as it does with a blouse and heels.

Adding a third piece like a denim jacket adds texture and style to the look.

These clear sandals are practically invisible (except for that cool gold sculptural heel) so they go with almost every outfit!

This linen style Bermuda short feels so chic. I so appreciate these shorts are on trend this summer as I’m preferring my shorts a bit longer.

I paired them with a silk button up and slingbacks and added a fedora too.

A two-piece set, like this short sleeve button-up shirt and drapey wide leg pants, is just so easy to throw together and look stylish.

You can wear the pieces side by side or break them up to make lots more outfits.

I added a belt to define my waist and a heeled ankle-strap sandal.
