The pieces in the N6's latest drop are versatile, well-made, and worth the investment...
Before the start of almost every month, I have a brainstorming session with the rest of my professional stylist friends from the Nordstrom6. We put our heads together to come up with six new pieces we think are fantastic additions to a fashionable wardrobe.
The pieces included in this month's Nordstrom6 Drop are new finds that are versatile, well-made, and worth the investment.
Below I'm sharing outfit ideas I styled using pieces from the Nordstrom6 Jan Drop as well pieces that some my own personal closet favorites.

OUTFIT IDEA #1
The Zella fleece-wrapped wrap made the list for the N6 Drop and yummy, it is surprisingly warm and available in three neutral shade). I put it over my leopard print puffer vest from last year for a little fun and added a knit cap from Sh*t That I Knit.
I have to admit that I didn't get the hype behind Vuori joggers at first. I can pick up joggers anywhere for way less (and I do) but my friends kept insisting everyone loves them that tries them. Well, add me to the list.
These joggers are crazy soft, don't stretch out, and are perfect for errands, lounging, getting in your cardio, and so nice and comfy for travel. They have served me well. I loved them so much I even bought the matching hoodie!
OMG, I almost forgot to share the sneakers! I picked these up at Nordstrom and then realized they were a HOT item all over social media. After sliding my foot in, I now know why. Fresh kicks are always a must in January to help get me moving with my fitness goals.

OUTFIT IDEA #2
When the N6 suggested a relaxed cardigan from Vince (a brand I love) I wasn't jumping up and down because I already have a pile of cardigans at the top of my closet that have not seen the light of day in forever. I mean do I really need another one? I bet you know how this story goes...I say it all the time....you have to try it on!
Anyway, back to the Vince cardigan... there's something about that oversized look, the wooden buttons and masculine vibe that challenged me to add a little edge, so I paired it with my new faux leather straight leg pants from Express. I had been shopping for a relaxed pair that didn't squeeze my tush or make my thighs sweat. Faux leather can be dreadful...but these....THESE are flattering and lightweight. Plus, you get this HOT look for very little from your wallet.
A personal preference when it comes to pairing leather shoes with leather pants... real or faux... I don't like the look of leather pants and smooth leather boots so I pulled out my suede booties. Perfect!

OUTFIT IDEA #3
I read that sneakers are a perfect companion to bootcuts and flares... NOT for this petite girl though! If you have long legs, sure... go for it but otherwise... please add a heel of some sort. It doesn't have to be high but you need to lengthen the leg as much as possible. I especially love a block heel with these styles.
Now, tall girls can wear a cardigan buttoned but not me. With a sneaker, I prefer to show a peek of ankle or dare I say it... a skinny jean... GASP!
These are my Fidelity faves in a gray wash. I pulled a band tee from my drawer to make the cardigan cool and then made it even cooler when I added this little studded leather crossbody from AllSaints. That's better!

OUTFIT IDEA #4
I wore this look out on a dinner date. I was having a messy hair day so a hat added some style and hid that mess from the world. The little studded bag that goes with everything kept me company. And the stretch of these Paige jeans let me enjoy my dinner in comfort!
I saw this jacket was an Amazon hot seller and I can see why! They called this color "brown" but I think it's more of a "Red Rocks" clay tone. It works great with my rust-colored suede booties and my striped sweater that I found on Amazon too.
P.S. I just recently started trying out some Amazon clothing and to be honest it's hit or miss. Stay around and I'll share the good finds that I believe are worth a place in your closet..
