I had a plan to hit the mall this week to show you new pieces I found for my Sunday blog, but then the sore throat started, the achiness, the sinus pressure ..and I didn't leave the house. I thought about calling out, but I'm self-employed so no sick days LOL. Then I had an "aha" moment. I already had some new things I was excited to tell you about!
Have you heard of Barefoot Dreams? PJ Salvage? If you've been hanging out with me a while, you have. I put them on my holiday gift guides and even recommend them as a favorite gift for Mothers' Day every year too.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a big supply of both brands at my local Nordstrom Rack. Score! I wasn't feeling so great (and I heard lots of people aren't) but having soft pretty loungewear made me feel a little bit better.

Perhaps I shouldn't even share my bedhead photo and tired eyes, but you've been there, right? This robe from Barefoot Dreams... and everything else they make... feels INCREDIBLE. It's the softest, coziest stuff you may not want to take off! Plus, it's warm without being TOO warm. Oh yes I AM modeling my pajamas and lounging cardigan. They're pretty cute so I don't mind showing you. The short-sleeve jersey pajama set is from Nordstrom and the cocoon-style cardigan has pockets, is really cuddly and pretty enough to wear out of the house too. Years ago one of my customers turned me on to "Butter" socks and now I'm hooked. Nordstrom carries them and the Rack has lots of options too. I linked a pair I picked up below.

Not going to win any modeling contracts for this shot either - ha! I may have to be dragged out of these pieces once I'm feeling better. I mean - I could live in this half zip knit robe. This is so nice and warm, has a long zipper to make it easy to get in and out of. I bet you know someone that would LOVE this like I do. Maybe YOU? Before I forget, look at those fuzzy slippers! I bought them in 2 colors. They come in small, medium, large and other colors. I wear a 6 1\2 (up to even a 7 1/2 sometimes) and the medium (sized as 7/8) felt a bit big. Consider sizing down. They are just $14.97 so pick up a few for your houseguests or as a nice gift add-on!
