I have found that certain lipstick colors can be intimidating to wear. In the past there were times I would have passed on a bold shade and said, “It’s not for me”, but not this time. No ma'am.
This time I decided to figure out a few ways I could make even the boldest shade... a shade that didn't feel like “my” color, into exactly what I was looking for. I came up with five looks below that make a bold color wearable.
The base lipstick I used in all five looks is a matte liquid lipstick from Farmasi in the Super Star color. Let me tell you, this shade is for sure bold... more like fierce! I was intent on wearing it, so I had to figure out how to tame it. I tested some ideas and came up with a few that work. P.S. The lipstick has a long lasting formula. It's made to last eight hours when you wear it alone, and once dry it is transfer proof. That said, it is not drying on the lips like some liquid lipsticks can be. It’s also clean, free of harmful ingredients, not tested on animals, and affordable. Also, one little tip... if you add a lip liner or a lip gloss the lipstick will not last all day and will transfer.
