This is my thirteenth year helping my clients shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They count on me, as their trusted style advisor, to recommend the pieces that will work best for them.

Because Nordstrom invited me out to their Fashion Valley store in San Diego back in June for an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek of hundreds of Anniversary pieces, including the ones I’m recommending below.
Why is having access to Anniversary items before I recommend them so important? Because I have first-hand knowledge about the quality of the pieces. It also gives me the chance to see how everything fits and feels. This is why I am able to confidently recommend to you (and my clients) the things that I do.

I’m almost fifty-one and my shopping strategy for Anniversary is to invest in classics as well as to throw in a few trending pieces, a pop of color here and there, and a bold accessory or two. I don’t get too “trendy” with my outfits, but I do like to have a little fun. Now, for the good stuff!

The grey plum shade is a seasonal color that is trending. It also comes in beige, for a toned down vibe.

This is the One! I tried on countless dresses and then I came across this stretch cotton midi dress.
It’s a well made and flattering, true lady-like classic midi dress that will never go out of style.
You can layer it with a piece that hits at the top of the hip or pair it with a cropped piece if you want to look slim in this style. I’m wearing a small, TTS.

This is a gorgeous sage green, Nordstrom calls it “grey mineral”, that this pleated midi skirt comes in.

It was love at first sight with these plaid slingback pumps. They’re classic, comfortable, trendy, and a great price!
Plaid goes with almost everything. You’ll be able to wear these with all your neutrals.

Oh my, these knee high boots are beautiful! I know this heel may be high for some, but if it’s the right height for you I definitely recommend them.
This caramel color will look fantastic with your casual and semi casual dresses, as well as with your slim denim and leggings.

I totally forgot to get a pic of this leather tote, but trust me… this “latte” shade is so gorgeous and it will work in every season.
The color will pop against your darker shades when you mix up your neutrals and compliments pastels, and smoky tones too.
