Here are the five steps to get fuller, fatter lips along with product details...
Step 1: Lip Conditioner
First, moisturize. Have you ever seen dry lips that looked plump and juicy…? No. Exfoliate as well, if you need to. Use lip conditioner. Farmasi’s lip conditioner is fabulous, then blot away any excess product.
Step 2: Face Sculpting Palette
Next grab yourself a shade of brown. Use your best judgment but you can go at least a couple of shades darker than your skin tone. I alternate between using my Farmasi bronzing powder (no longer available) and my face sculpting palette (which is available).
Sometimes I’ll even use a brown eyeshadow. Dab a compact-bristled brush in the brown and lightly dust it under the fold of your bottom lip. Full lips naturally create a shadow there and what you want to do is enhance or fake that shadow.
If you’re feeling adventurous you can also deep in the shadow on your top lip but I would go a little lighter here - either lighter in color or just lighter with your application - so it doesn’t look dirty (LOL).
Step 3: Lip Liner
Then take a lip liner in at least one shade deeper than your natural lip tone and line the perimeter of your lips or - if you dare - just slightly outside your natural lips. Also line the upper and lower outer corners of your lips about a quarter of the way across on each side. I use Farmasi's lip liner color "201".
Step 4: Lipstick
Next apply lipstick, fill in with a nude shade like a peachy pink tone. It can be a pretty gloss it can be a matte lipstick or a creamy formula doesn’t matter. I used Farmasi's matte lipstick color "Barely There". Press lips together and blend liner and lipstick a tad.
Step 5: Highlighter Palette
Last step… albeit an optional one... if you want you can add a touch of highlighter right above your Cupid's bow of your lips. The highlighter will bring that area forward and bring attention to it making your lips…yes YOURS… look fuller and plumper! Farmasi's highlighter palette is a great choice.
