Recently, I shared this pic in another blog post about a makeup look and I received a bunch of messages asking how I got those big curls and volume.
My hair is fine and wavy so it does take some work to get that volume, but it’s worth it! Rather than tell you in words, I decided to show you in a video...

But, before you watch the video I wanted to share a little secret my hairstylist told me... he told me NOT to straighten my waves first, like I had been doing. He said to use my natural texture to my advantage. The key to having a great curly hair day starts in the shower with moisture. Then, letting your hair air dry quite a bit before putting heat to it helps prevent frizz.
