I'd like to (re)introduce you to a pair of pants I used to wear two decades ago
Boy, finding a pair of great-fitting pants is no easy feat. Recently, I went shopping for a client who needed new workwear pieces, which included the task of finding pants. I hunted high and low and finally found the perfect pair at Express...
If you're not familiar with the Express Editor pant let me tell you... it's the fashion brand's most popular pant ever-selling over 31 million pairs worldwide since 2003!
For 2023 Express has updated their iconic Editor pant with four new styles. In addition to the original low-rise boot cut, there are now mid-rise boot, mid-rise flare, super high-rise straight, and high-rise skinny fits.
I'm so glad I rediscovered the Editor pant because I ended up finding the perfect pair of work pants... for my client and for MYSELF... that's right, I couldn't help it... I had to have a few pairs too. I recommend you try them as well. The fabric is pretty heavy and they have a great deal of stretch... super flattering. The pockets are perfectly placed too... so important for the backside. Winner!... P.S. I'm 5'3" and had to size up from my usual size of 4 regular to 6 regular in the pants.

Metallics are ALWAYS on my must-have list. They "go" with everything and have a little bit of edge to them.. or a lot...
This satin blazer reads as a silver-y lavender, just beautiful. It's lightweight and adds some fun to your work neutrals, yet would be gorgeous over a camisole - paired with jeans and a heel on your night out. It comes in a few colors and is true to size.
The fitted tank is a heavyweight fabric with stretch that holds it all in - breasts and belly. I kept the shine going and added a patent bootie from my closet.

Cutouts like this one let you play with the sexy trend, but don't go too far. I picked up a small(true to size) but could go down a size for a tighter fit.
Add a blazer for work or change into a strappy heel for date night.

Mixing sweet and feminine with edgy pieces is my specialty. Pussy bow blouses are a classic style for work (as seen here) but I also wear the style with worn-in denim and fitted bottoms.
This milk chocolate satin blouse is machine washable and so versatile. I paired this outfit with patent pumps. The hem of these pants works with pumps, ankle boots, and (see next look)...

...even sneakers.
Why not wear the Editor pants with a sweatshirt or tee? The pant is so versatile you can absolutely pull this look off with them! When you add a sneaker you look "dressy-casual" and fun!
The sweatshirt I tucked just a little. I bought it with a matching set of jog bottoms but enjoy dressing it up just a little bit too.
