Be the best-dressed at your office...
When I started working as a personal stylist hosiery was often required, open-toe shoes were a no-no, and an interview meant you should wear a 2 piece suit.
Over the past ten years though work wear has been trending more casual and ever since Covid, with everyone getting comfortable working from home, things have gotten even more relaxed.
With that in mind I found some great business casual items that will have you on-trend in the office. Keep scrolling to see the looks I put together...
Outfit Details: Cashmere Cardigan | Maxi Skirt | Slingback Sandal
This cashmere cardigan and midi skirt, both by Vince, in this citrus color is gorgeous. You could add a tank and sandal to dress it down to wear out of the office too.
Outfit Details: Linen Dress | Heeled Sandal | Tote Bag
This shirred linen dress from Vince is my favorite shape. I can put anyone in an A-line, no matter their body type. I also adore a feminine retro-style, something I can spin in (I can’t help it). You can change out the belt on this dress, cinch the waist or leave it loose. The open toe sandal works great with the dress. You could also add a blazer or cardigan along with a classic pump for a more traditional look.
Outfit Details: Tailored Blazer | Tank Top | Midi Skirt | Square-Toe Sandal
This tailored blazer by Veronica Beard is fabulous. I paired it with a tank and floral skirt for a little high/low mash-up.
Outfit Details: Rib Sweater | Midi Skirt | Square-Toe Sandal
This knit top in this blue tone is beautiful. If appropriate for your office you could wear it by itself or add a blazer for a little more coverage.
Outfit Details: Relaxed Blazer | Tank Top | Chino Pants | Slide Sandal
This relaxed blazer pairs well with the slim clean silhouette of the v-neck tank top underneath. And yes... you can wear white and ivory together!
Outfit Details: Relaxed Blazer | Tank Top | Wide Leg Pants | Sunglasses
I’ve been meaning to share this black relaxed suit combo for a while. The wide leg pants are so comfortable. If you wanted to you could also wear a street sneaker with this look.
Outfit Details: Poplin Duster | Square-Toe Sandal
I love this pleat back poplin duster. You can wear it loose and easy or belted and simple. I recommend to always roll the sleeves to show a slim wrist.
Outfit Details: Ruched Sleeve Blazer | Floral Print Dress | Square-Toe Sandal
Elevate your style with this floral print dress layered with a ruched sleeve blazer. A perfect look if you work in an office where the temps seem to always be too hot... then too chilly.. then back to hot... then chilly again.
