In the ever-changing landscape of fashion, where trends come and go, there remains a steadfast and timeless hero: black pants.
Whether you're dashing off to a crucial meeting, enjoying a casual weekend outing, or dressing up for a special occasion, black pants effortlessly rise to the occasion. They are the dependable workhorses of our closets, always ready to step in and elevate any ensemble.
In my shopping adventures, I found three pairs I couldn't leave behind... and just had to share with you. Keep scrolling to see my recommendations along with how I styled them...
J Crew makes great workwear and the Sydney wide-leg pant in bi-stretch cotton blend just hugs so nicely where it should and lets go where I like it to. These are perfect for all of your blouses and jackets and cute with a tee and flat too. It's your call.
I added a blazer cardigan (so big this year) from Lilly Pulitzer and loafers (always in style but especially hot right now). Everything here is true to size. The pant comes in classic, petite, and tall and in three color options.
A client introduced me to the the Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Ponte Pants and I've been obsessed ever since. This pant is SO flattering on all sizes and shapes I've tried so far. Every season it is re-introduced in new colors and fabrics because it's a timeless bestseller. Try it. You'll be amazed.
Here I am wearing a polo-style cashmere sweater, super-soft and warm. I appreciate the golden vanilla shade, that gives the skin a little glow. This is the bootie from the Nordstrom 6 Drop, the Usha, so versatile, easy to walk in all day long. All of these pieces are true to size.
The Colette comes in standard, tall, petite and plus! Currently, there are six colors to choose from and so many fabrics available on the site too! The sweater is available in nine colors, regular and petites!
Here's the wild card in the bunch. Have fun with the cargo trend, yet still look polished in the 'Ab'Solution Skyrise Pleated Wide Leg Cargo Pants by Wit & Wisdom. These pants are designed to hold in your tummy. They drape so nicely and I love that at 5'4" I can wear a little heel and not need a hem. There's a bit to let down if you need more length, though!
I am wearing them with the Frame Gillian silk top in blue. Isn't it gorgeous?! The cargo pants are true to size, the blouse and booties are as well.
