Anthropologie Try On

This past week there's been a chill in the morning air around where I live and it got me excited for new fall looks!

I decided to see what's new in the stores and headed to my local Anthropologie to check out their new arrivals.

I had a great time trying on "in-between season" pieces that had just arrived and wanted to share what I found with you.

Keep scrolling to take a peek at what I found...

Who doesn't love jeans, but sometimes stepping out in something a little more fun and colorful is called for.

Orange pants? Yes, indeed. This style is the beloved Colette from Anthropologie brand Maeve. If you don't own them already, you're missing out! They are in constant rotation - year after year, and season after season they return to Anthro in various colors and fabrics. Currently, there are 16 different options from denim washes to bold colors! Available in regular, petite, tall and plus, there's a pair for everyone. They're so flattering!

And here's what I'm pairing the pants with...

Leopard prints are trending. Peplum tops and bows are trending. This top has ALL THREE! I like toning down the leopard with neutrals but I REALLY love popping it with a warm complementary color like red or orange, so fun!

Across from orange on the color wheel is blue and this navy stripe sweater with the pants looks so good together! I had to brighten these photos a little: the pants are actually a little more muted in natural light, FYI.

This lady jacket (Anthro calls it a coatigan) can be worn buttoned as a top or left open as a layer. Looks great with jeans! We can always make some room in the closet for a new blouse and this one can do a lot. Wear it with trousers, both wide and slim, for work. Wear it with jeans or knits on the weekend for all your fun plans. It's SO pretty!

I'm wearing a 27 in the pants, and a small in the leopard top, cardigan, and blouse. All true to size. If you're small busted size down in the leopard print top.

You can wear this elegant blouse for so many occasions- church, work, dinner - you name it!

It’s light and sheer yet the detachable cami makes it conservative too. The rose shade I’m wearing is beautiful and Autumn-ready. It also comes in a goldenrod yellow and white too!

One reviewer says "These may be my favorite pants ever!!" and I can see why! Comfort and fashion come together so perfectly here!

This is a heavyweight linen blend pant just made for these times when mornings are cool and afternoons are still quite warm. The drape on these is just so cool!

I wanted to show you how you can wear the pants to work with a blazer or peplum top, then switch up for going out on the weekend with a plain tank or muscle sweatshirt.

Even short girls can wear these pants. Just make sure you're defining your waist or showing off some slim part of your body (like your arms, wrists or neck).

I'm wearing a small regular in the pants (TTS), but they also come in tall, petite, and plus! P.S. Pants like these look best with a pointed toe shoe.

The blazer, tank and peplum top I'm wearing a small and that cool muscle sweatshirt I'm wearing an xsmall. All fit TTS.

If you're not quite ready to pack away your summer favorites but it's getting too cool to wear them alone, let's add a stylish topper.

This quilted one is so unique, very boho chic! At first it felt like "too much" but I just needed to push the sleeve, show my wrists and then I loved it! People will ask you where you got it!

These relaxed knit blazers are made for "business casual" work looks and for layering over your tees and jeans too. They're both so comfortable!

I'm wearing a small in all of the blazers, TTS.

I couldn't leave the store without trying a new dress!

This swing mini dress will be perfect with your sandals and sneakers right now and with your knee boots, ankle boots and combat boots (if you dare) later.

The dark shade makes wearing sheer black tights easy too. I'm pretty obsessed with these silver western inspired booties, so much so that I bought them in a deep shade of red too. I love how the cut at the ankle makes the legs appear long and slim!

I'm wearing a small in the dress, TTS
