Delightful Denim Shorts
My husband wanted to know why I wasn’t modeling a pair of Daisy Dukes as one of the options for different short lengths… pfft, silly guy. Are Daisy Dukes even a thing anymore? If they are this booty ain’t squeezing into them. I mean, I squat and lunge but I also like ice cream and dark chocolate plus, uh… I’m over a certain age. Gonna have to break it to him that my short short wearing days are long gone. Lol.
I’ve recently been being asked about appropriate inseam lengths for us fashion conscious denim short lovers. In the pic above I’m wearing three different shorts with what I believe are the perfect inseam lengths that are just right for us ladies. The first pair on the left is a relaxed destroyed hem from Madewell with a 2 1/2in inseam. The second pair in the middle, also from Madewell, is a relaxed mid-length with a 4 1/2in inseam. And the third short, shown on the right, is a raw hem by TopShop with a 6 1/2in inseam. Any three of these inseam lengths will work for those of us who want to show a little leg in an age appropriate way.
Daisy Dukes. SMH. My man has lost his mind.
