10 Outfit Ideas From My Try On Session At The Nordstrom NYC Flagship Store

I'm in New York for Fashion Week. While here, I stopped by the Nordstrom NYC Flagship Store to see what new pieces had arrived for the season.

The New York City store is jam-packed with exquisite pieces for its high-fashion clientele. I spent the day sorting through it all… searching for on-trend, wearable pieces I felt you would appreciate.

I had a lot of fun doing this try on session, and I am excited to share some of my favorites with you. Keep scrolling to see what I styled!

Oh and a quick note... all the pieces I tried on are true to size except for the faux leather fur dress by Simkhai, I went up a size bigger in that one.

This Denny satin blazer by Alice + Olivia is the perfect way to add a touch of glamour to any outfit. The streamlined welt pockets and crisp notched lapels give it a sophisticated look, while the single-breasted closure makes it easy to adjust for a perfect fit.

I paired the blazer with the matching side slit high waist satin pants. These swishy wide-leg pants are made from the same luxurious satin fabric as the blazer, that will make you feel confident and elegant. The earthy hue is perfect for any occasion, and the high waist flatters all body types. The pants are a little too long for the boot I'm wearing. I would've preferred to wear a sandal but did not have one in the moment. 

Lastly, for the top I chose the luxurious Nina print silk shirt by L'Agence. This shirt is the perfect way to add a touch of glamour to your wardrobe. The leopard-print backdrop is bold and eye-catching, while the romantic roses add a touch of femininity. The shirt is made from high-quality silk that is soft and comfortable to wear. It is also wrinkle-resistant, so you can look your best without having to worry about your shirt getting wrinkled. You must see this shirt in person. Pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous!

The Avanti Floral Geo Jacquard Print Silk Blend Blouse by Veronica Beard with its delicate floral print is the perfect way to add a touch of femininity to your wardrobe.

The blouse pairs well with jeans. Here I'm wearing the Taylor Raw Hem High Waist Crop Wide Leg Jeans by Veronica Beard. These high-rise, raw-cropped wide-leg jeans are crafted from non-stretch Italian denim. The high waist and wide leg create a flattering silhouette. The jeans are raw, meaning they have not been washed or treated, so they will fade and soften with wear.

Achieve a two-piece look with one-and-done ease wearing the Brynn Mixed Media Long Sleeve Midi Dress by En Saison designed with a ribbed bodice and a flowery skirt. The ribbed bodice is made from a soft, stretchy fabric that provides a comfortable fit, while the flowery skirt adds a touch of femininity. This silk blouse by Argent is made from a lightweight silk charmeuse that is both luxurious and comfortable. The blouse features a long button-up front, lined lapels, and side slit hems. It can be worn partially tucked, fully tucked, or untucked with your favorite pair of trousers or skirts. This blouse is perfect for a variety of occasions, from work to special events. It is also a great choice for layering in the colder months. The raspberry color I'm wearing is beautiful. It also comes in a slate blue, which is just as beautiful. I'm wearing a boot, but a pump or sandal would look best with this top.

You can pair the blouse with trousers, a skirt, or jeans, like I did here with this look. The Sarah Straight Leg Jeans by Paige are a classic, versatile pair of jeans. Ooh-la-la... wow where ever you go in the Carlee Fringe Detail Faux Leather Dress by Simkhai. This dress is a statement piece that is sure to turn heads.
