Keep Your Cool at Work With These Three Professional Warm Weather Outfit Ideas

What's a lady supposed to do when it's hot out and you have to go to work... especially when you want (or have) to be professional and conservatively dressed? 

Sure your office may be air-conditioned (hallelujah) but you don't want to die going from your car to your desk. Let's figure this out. I found a few options that just might work.

I have no idea why... but I am always drawn to utilitarian and safari styles like this look. I found this Nordstrom brand dress on the rack, knew it would be stylish for years to come... as in NEVER out of style. Perhaps an instant classic?

The fabric is a great quality. Use the tie waist it comes with or be adventurous and swap it out for a belt from your closet. I'm wearing a small (TTS) and it's very comfortable. Add a light sweater if you prefer your arms covered. The dress is just $89.

If you can wear sandals to work, the ones I'm wearing are fantastic. I found them at the Rack. A pump or slingback would work too if not.

My glasses add that extra "something". These in taupe are by Look Optic. They are readers, and way better than those drugstore alternatives you've been carrying around.

I picked up this pink linen blazer on the way out of the mall recently. I was looking for a "spring-y" topper for my new floral cami and this worked perfectly. One thing to note, this blazer is oversized so I recommend sizing down.

I've already worn my wide leg linen trousers with a tank and sandals, but wanted to elevate them for work. Bingo.

Wear the pumps for day, switch up to a sandal for happy hour.

I'm a shirt dress junkie. Here's one that's a soft feel and lightweight and can be worn straight and simple- but I do love it belted too... the western belt I'm wearing adds style. It's one of my favorites.

I'm all about this deep olive shade and I love the fact that it has a significant sleeve (I rolled it up a little). I also love that it's just $89!

Slingbacks and a bold pair of glasses finished my look.
