I have bad news and I have good news. This fab dress the Nordstrom6 chose for our March drop is almost sold out in black. That's the bad news. We all know the versatility of a classic black dress... that's part of the reason of its popularity.
Now for the good news - a few NEW very similar black dresses came onto the scene. I like them and I linked them. Keep checking back for this dress, too, in case of returns! It's a good one for vacation, for all of your summer dinners out.
If you're petite like me it will hit almost at the floor, but can easily be hemmed if you want it shorter. The scoop neck top is stretchy and the full skirt a midweight cotton. I added a favorite hat and my new Sam Edelman sandals, also part of "the drop".

This blazer from Cinq a Sept made one of our N6 drops last year too! It comes in four colors and has ruched sleeves and covered buttons. The fabric is lightweight and is cut beautifully. Wear it with your dresses, jeans, chinos and nicer shorts.
I added a metallic sandal from my closet (metallic accessories are IN, but have always been a favorite of mine) and this adorable faux-pearl and bamboo bag cinches on the inside to keep your belongings safe. It comes in four color options.

I'll start with the bad news again. UGH, this blue tank was so popular it's already gone too BUT I found several other great options and linked them below (the good news).
This light wash denim is from Paige and has a little kick flare raw hem. They should hit slightly above your ankle. More good news - because they are a raw hem, you can shorten them yourself!
I'm wearing a sandal from our drop that looks like a high-end shoe but will only set you back $130! I've been wearing it with everything. If you have narrow feet, skip this one. Otherwise it's a winner that comes in three colors!

I'll finish up with more good news. That favorite black dress comes in ivory too and is fully stocked. It pairs really well with the gingham dress from last month's drop, don't you think?
Stylist tip: the long lines of this dress call for a somewhat long necklace. Wear what YOU like, but a longer length will visually extend your look overall and who doesn't want to look a little taller?
Add a soft pastel bag and your outfit is complete and perfect for Easter too!
