Nothing says "festive" like sequins
However, not all sequin pieces are created equal. Sometimes, they can be downright uncomfortable and itchy! I headed out to find pieces I am confident in recommending. Whether you want to jazz up your New Year's Eve dinner outfit or ring in the new year dancing... I have a few options for you.

I found this beauty among a sea of black sequins. It comes in three colors; a soft gold and a deep pine green are the other two. The dress has some stretch to it and is quite comfortable. It hugs the body but the sequins make it so forgiving! All that shine and texture distract the eye.
I always recommend my clients skip hosiery (if they are comfortable doing so) because sequins can snag them. With this dress, most of my leg is covered so I feel totally comfortable going bare-legged. I picked up this black patent ankle strap sandal, keeping the rest of the look understated. I kept the earring simple too.

This dress is gonna blow you away! The sequins are way more subtle, but there's a bit of beading, embroidery and the prettiest tulle strap detail. The dress looks way more expensive than it is! The fit is true to size and the weight of the dress and pattern makes it flattering.
I added simple gold hoops and that same black patent sandal. The black patent material tends to be stiff, making the sandal a smidge narrow in the toe box. I have an almost-wide foot, but I gave it the tiniest little stretch and it was comfortable. The shoe does come in other colors and materials. Plus, that low heel makes it easy to dance the night away and still gives your leg that sexy lift.

I found a skirt that was a comfortable fit, doesn't wiggle its way up (so no tugging on it all night) and was the perfect length. It's short enough to be a little sexy but not TOO short. This blouse is a really pretty rose gold with a slight shimmer. It would look great with a trouser or jeans too. I tucked it into the skirt and added a knee boot just to try a different look. I like it. The earrings are an old favorite of mine but I linked similar. Then I thought a brown-rimmed lip and coppery gloss complemented the blouse incredibly well.
