This time of year, when the leaves change, my personal style clients get in touch asking me for the perfect look that will work for spending time outdoors. Most of the time they want something other than jeans, yet still casual. comfortable and warm. Trousers look too dressed up and short flirty dresses don't feel "right".

Denim goes with everything so a chambray dress is such an easy option. I fell in love with this brand Wash Lab, when I found their patchwork denim midi skirt two years ago. It was similar to what I was loving in a designer brand without the designer cost. First was the skirt, then I bought a fitted denim dress and now this breezy piece.
Suede knee boots felt right with this dress, but sandals (in a warmer climate) or western boots would work too. My friend sent me a small leather crossbody. The fringe fit the vibe of the dress so I'm glad to be able to use it. Add a cozy oversized cardigan and you fit right in around here.
