It’s time for the Nordstrom6 October Drop!
Every month my stylist friends and I choose six pieces that will perk up your wardrobe.
This month, since we are all together in person taking part in two different Designer events at the Nordstrom stores in San Diego and Seattle, we thought we'd share some of our favorite “elevated” basics with you.

Piece #1: rag & bone Slade Blazer
As you're beginning to add layers to your looks for fall, a blazer seems appropriate to be included in our drop this month. This rag & bone blazer is part of the brand's ICONS collection. The ICONS collection are the brand's timeless classic best-sellers that are brought back every year. The Slade blazer comes in a several styles, a few colors and even a faux leather version. Button it all the way like a top or wear it open blazer-style.

Piece #2: Nordstrom Cashmere Sweater
Do you own a Nordstrom brand cashmere sweater yet? If you love the feel of cashmere but don’t like the price tag that usually accompanies it… you are in luck. This sweater is a luxury piece for under $100! And it comes in a couple of necklines and different colors too. The v-neck works best for every bustline.

Piece #3: ATM Schoolboy Crewneck T-Shirt
The ATM Schoolboy tee is a must-have. All of us ladies own at least one, some of us several in different colors. You need this tee. It's not too thin and not too heavy, the cut is fitted but not too fitted with stretch but again not too much. Yes, it's just a t-shirt... but the perfect t-shirt. It comes in several colors and the style returns every year because it’s a best-seller for a reason.

Piece #4: Mother Jeans
We love our denim... and we really love Mother denim. The brand makes quality, trendy denim in tons of cuts, lengths and of-the-moment styles. I tried on quite a few pairs to choose my favorites. It was hard to pick. You really can't go wrong with whatever you choose from this denim brand.

Piece #5: rag & bone Rover Boot
An ankle boot that comes in a few neutral shades is a must. This one is part of the rag & bone ICONS collection and returns each year to stores! An almond toe is always in style. The heel isn’t too flat, nor is it high. It’s easy to walk in. This is one sleek little well-made boot.
