Over the years as I've scrolled my social media feeds I’ve seen a lot of kitschy stars and stripes Labor Day outfits. Now, nothing against kitschy or stars and stripes, but I thought it would be fun to share a few inspirational outfits that let you show your American pride in a more understated way.

This white denim dress, that I think I’ve had for at least two years now, but J.Crew keeps bringing it back plus it’s still getting great reviews. It’s on an end-of-summer sale right now! If you get chilly, add a blue/white pinstripe button-down and roll your sleeves. The oversized shirt I'm wearing is one of my most worn items ever. I added a bright lip to get that red in there and a clear vinyl sandal with a block heel.
I love this ruffle sleeve crop top. I always pair it with something high-waisted. Showing a little sliver of middle-aged tummy is okay if you’re confident. The jeans are one of the latest styles of Fidelity Denim called the Cher. They are incredibly soft and comfortable. A brown belt and clean white sneaker make this BBQ ready!
You can wear white long after Labor Day, so keep rocking those white jeans! I paired mine with an oversized blue silk button-down-classic Vince and a gold strappy sandal. A straw hat adds the charm.
