Love It or Leave It – 8 Pieces from My Latest Nordstrom Dressing Room Try-On

I'm sharing some new arrivals in my latest Nordstrom dressing room try-on that caught my eye...

I’m not much of a clearance sale shopper. I feel like if no one else bought it by now, there’s probably good reason. I’d rather save my time looking and money to put toward something new and fresh. I also recommend to my private personal style clients to do the same.

For my latest dressing room try-on I passed over the August clearance racks while shopping this week and found some new arrivals... some dresses and a jumpsuit. Prior to going into the store I'd seen these pieces online and they had caught my eye. Turns out some I loved and a couple I decided to leave behind.

This first dress is the kind of dress I live in. It's by Nordstrom Signature. It's meant to be worn loose and easy, but you could belt it. I'd wear it with a cool boot or a sandal or a wedge. It has pockets!

I'm always on the look out for a good jumpsuit, and this one is super flattering. It's got a zipper up the front. It's supposed to be cropped, but at five foot three it comes to my ankle. It also comes in olive green.

I typically love shirtdresses, but this one is a little bit too loose. If I belt it, it's going to be a bit short, so maybe not. Aw, too bad.

This one is a favorite. I really fell for this. I could go down a size and I could belt it. It also comes in a beige color, which is really nice. It's heavy enough to hide all your lumps and bumps. Love it!

This little Madewell dress would be adorable with a belt. You could put a sweater a blazer, or a denim jacket over it, and add a knee boot, an over the knee boot, or an ankle boot. Wear it with tights later on. I like this. It's cute. It's fun.

This is fabulous. This is by Veronica Beard, a denim shirt dress. Super flattering. I had to go up a size to a six instead of my usual four. It's a little bit on the shorter side.

And then this one here. I love Veronica Beard. This would be great for work. I had a little trouble with that zipper at first because it's in the seam, but once I got it zipped, oh, I'm taken with it. It's one and done, a whole outfit in one piece.
